Live trains in Ireland
Drop a pin anywhere in Ireland and watch every Irish Rail train within 0.5 to 80 km of it, from the Commuter trains around Dublin to the InterCity services to Cork, Galway, Limerick and Rosslare. Sky Hub Cloud Train Radar shows what's running around your pin right now, on your TV, desktop or tablet.

What you see on the map
- Irish Rail InterCity, Commuter and Enterprise trains, each drawn as an arrow pointing where it is heading
- Zoom in and the arrow becomes the whole train, drawn along the track
- Colours for each kind of service, explained in the legend
- Click a train and its route is drawn on the map

What the train card shows
- The service (InterCity, Commuter or Enterprise), direction and status
- Where it comes from and where it is going
- Every station with its time and delay, including the points it only passes through
- Its next stop and how late it is now
- Times in Irish local time
How positions work in Ireland
Irish Rail reports when each train arrives at or leaves a station. Between stations, Sky Hub Cloud estimates the position from those reports and the timetable. It is not GPS, and the card says so. Most of the time the train on the map is close to the real one; after a long stretch without a report it can be a little ahead or behind.
Where the data comes from
Iarnród Éireann / Irish Rail real-time data. Station locations from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
Beyond a journey planner
- Your own pin and radius, from 0.5 km at a platform to 80 km across a region
- TRAIN LOG: statistics for your spot, CSV download and a weekly report
- The same plan includes Fly Radar and Ship Radar with Coast Explorer, so Dublin Bay also shows ships and the planes over it
Good places to drop a pin
- Dublin Connolly: Commuter, InterCity and Enterprise trains in one place, the busiest view in the country
- Dublin Heuston: the InterCity trains to Cork, Galway and Limerick
- Drogheda: the line north of Dublin, with Commuter and Enterprise trains
- Bray: the coast line south of Dublin, where the Rosslare trains run by the sea
- Cork Kent, Galway Ceannt and Limerick Colbert: the other ends of the main InterCity lines
