Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
This policy explains what personal data Sky Hub ("we", "us") collects through skyhubcloud.com, why, and what rights you have over it. We aim to collect as little data as possible, and never sell or share it with third parties.
Who is responsible for your data
Sky Hub is an independent, UK-based project, currently pre-registration as a formal business (see our About page). For the purposes of data protection law, Sky Hub acts as the data controller for any personal data collected through this site. You can contact us at office@skyhubcloud.com for anything relating to your data.
What data we collect
Today, the only personal data we actively collect through this site is the email address you voluntarily submit through the "Notify me" form, so we can let you know when Sky Hub launches. We also automatically log the IP address of that submission and a timestamp, purely to prevent spam and abuse of the form.
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising trackers on this site.
Cookies
Sky Hub uses a single cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie, set only when you sign in to the tester portal or admin area. It is used solely to keep you signed in, contains no tracking or advertising data, and is never shared with any third party. It is not set for visitors browsing the public site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies of any kind.
Why we collect it
- To send you a one-time notification when Sky Hub becomes available.
- To detect and block automated/bot submissions (rate limiting and spam prevention).
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until Sky Hub officially launches and the corresponding notification has been sent, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. Data is stored on infrastructure we operate and control directly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted at any time. To exercise any of these rights, simply email office@skyhubcloud.com and we will action your request promptly.
Changes to this policy
As Sky Hub grows — including new features such as a client portal, device licensing and payments — this policy will be updated to reflect any new data we collect, and we'll make sure the changes are clearly reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
